2. INTERNATIONAL APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Complete and return Application Form to the School with a current copy of school transcript and immunization record (translated in English). Click here for a Chinese Application Form;

If accepted by the School, a Pre-admission Letter will be sent to the student;

Student pays tuition fee as directed;
-
Upon receipt of tuition fee, an official Letter of Acceptance and Tuition Fee Receipt will be sent to student; the 2012-2013 tuition fee for International students is $15,000/year. Please see our Admissions page for more detailed information;

Student applies for a Study permit to study in Canada (if required);
-
Student informs the School when the study permit is granted, arrival date (if airport pick up is required) and registration date;

Upon registration at the School, student provides proof of age and legal status in Canada;

Student writes English and Mathematics placement tests if requested by school officials for study program planning;
-
Student starts education program at J. Addison School.
3. TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION
Upon application to J. Addison School, the Administration team will evaluate a student's original transcript from their previously attended school. Based on a recent copy of the student's transcript and/or granted Ontario credit equivalencies, the Administration team will determine grade placement. This will assist our Student Services Department in coordinating all aspects of the university application process.
4. STUDENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT
J. Addison School is proud of our Student Services Department. This department fulfills a variety of roles beginning from as early as the pre-application intake period, and all the way through to our students' graduation.
Assistance from the Student Service Department is evident in every aspect of the Addison AdvantageTM from the students' arrival at J. Addison School to graduation day and university entrance. We support the needs of every student and maintain close contact with parents/guardians. This department also assists students with:

5. Dormitory Residences - Available September 2012 !
Many of our students require accommodations wihile studying at J. Addison School. We are very excited to announce that dormitory residences will be available starting in September, 2012. Please contact us for more information and to inquire about availability.
Benefits of living in on-site dormitory residences

J. Addison School assists students in exploring educational and career opportunities. We provide extensive counselling throughout every step in the university application process.
Additionally, representatives from a variety of universities visit J. Addison School and present students with options, detailed information and advice should they choose to study at their particular university or college.
